Observation Tower

The sky, ocean, and light interactions created a challenge in the design process, since the observation tower is located in the heart of the ocean, the view from the tower is critical and the sun’s direction can play a key role in the design.

Furthermore, the open view of the site must be utilized to bring an exciting experience from the path that leads to the indirect entrance up to the peak of the tower, capturing a moment of curiosity and appreciation. The relation between solid and void of form are not just a response to the sun, but also a visual connection where the ocean cannot be fully seen from one point,
The higher you rise the more you discover different angles but if you stand still, you will appreciate the light moving around you. It's all about movement, the pure white geometry in the heart of the ocean has created a canvas for the light throughout the day.
