Fire Fighters don't only extinguish the fire, but also rescue and save lives, the Soul is a mysterious entity. Some believe that when people die, they move on to the other life by passing through the white Light unless they have unfinished tasks to do, otherwise their souls are stuck in this world, Similarly, firefighters are stuck in their world (the station), the only way they can release themselves is through rescuing other people.
Some philosophers think that the soul is a combination of Body, mind, and self. The souls' station reflected these components on the zones. Trucks bay represents the body, offices represent the mind, while in the intersection of these two components, there are: The lounge, fitness, and prayer room, and finally, the bedroom represents the self. The intersected functions- The cylindrical form- have a huge skylight that brings the white light, whereas in the center, there is the traditional symbolic pole.
It is exaggerated and extended toward the sky outside the ceiling. The ease of circulation has been considered and simplified into one route through a gentle ramp that begins from the core linking and leading to the offices and the bedroom which has another direct access to the bay. The ramp can be seen from the exterior through the uplifted mass in a dynamic way that clearly defines the entrance of the station.
